Chocolate Paleo Tart

No baking required

I love recipes that make my life easier and using a packet of Red Tractor Paleo Almond Flax Granola helps to make this quick and easy no baking required tart!


Base Ingredients

¼ cup Organic Coconut oil

10 dried Dates (roughly 65g)

1tbsp Maple Syrup

1tsp Vanilla Extract


Filling Ingredients 150mls Dairy-free Coconut Yoghurt

150mls Double Cream (could use all yoghurt)

2 tsp Maple Syrup

2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 ½ punnets of Raspberries

70% Cocoa Chocolate for grating Method Soak the dates in boiling water for 10 minutes. While they are soaking, line a 20cm loose bottom tart / quiche tin with baking paper and oil the sides.


Drain the dates and then put the Red Tractor Paleo Almond Flax Granola, the Red Tractor Organic Cacao Powder, the dates, oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract in a food processor and whiz it up for a couple of minutes or until it forms a crumb like texture.

Tip the mixture into the tin and then with your fingers press the mixture into the shape of the tin and up the sides of the tin to form the tart base. Put the tin in the freezer for 30 minutes to set firm and then gently remove from the tin. In a bowl whisk the cream until it thickens, stir through the yoghurt, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Pour into the tart base and smooth over evenly. Sprinkle over the raspberries and grate as much chocolate as you desire!
